Dropledge Academy is committed to fostering an inclusive, transparent, and learner-centric environment. These policies outline our operational principles and the rights and responsibilities of our learners and stakeholders.
Appeals Policy
Purpose
This policy ensures learners can challenge decisions related to monitoring outcomes, special considerations, assessment results, or investigations into malpractice fairly and transparently.
Scope
Applies to all learners and clients enrolled in any Dropledge Academy course.
Appeals Process
- Initial Appeal Submission
- Appeals must be submitted to media@dropledge.org within 10 working days of receiving the decision.
- Include:
- Full name and contact details.
- Specific details of the decision being appealed and the grounds for the appeal.
- Supporting documents or evidence.
- Acknowledgment and Review
- Appeals will be acknowledged within 5 working days.
- A review panel, independent of the original decision-makers, will assess the case.
- Outcome Communication
- A written response with findings and the final decision will be provided within 15 working days.
- External Review
- If dissatisfied, escalate the appeal to an independent regulatory authority or mediator, per applicable jurisdiction laws.
Jurisdiction
- Indian students: Governed by the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
- UK students: Governed by the Consumer Rights Act, 2015.
- Others: Subject to local jurisdiction and mediation agreements.
Complaints Policy
Purpose
To provide a fair and efficient process for resolving complaints promptly and transparently.
Scope
This policy applies to all Dropledge Academy learners, clients, and stakeholders.
Complaints Process
- Informal Resolution
- Submit concerns to media@dropledge.org.
- Most issues are resolved within 5 working days.
- Formal Complaint Submission
- If unresolved, submit a formal complaint via email, including:
- Name and contact information.
- A clear description of the issue.
- Any supporting evidence or previous communication.
- If unresolved, submit a formal complaint via email, including:
- Investigation
- Acknowledge receipt within 3 working days.
- Resolution provided within 20 working days.
- Appeal
- Follow the Appeals Policy if dissatisfied with the resolution.
Jurisdiction
- Indian students: Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
- UK students: Consumer Rights Act, 2015.
- Others: Subject to local jurisdiction laws or mediation agreements.
Course Content Review Policy
Purpose
To maintain the quality and relevance of course content, adhering to global standards and learner expectations.
Review Process
- Frequency: Conducted semi-annually or upon significant industry updates.
- Procedure:
- Assess content accuracy and alignment with standards.
- Gather learner feedback to identify improvement areas.
- Communication: Notify learners of updates via email.
Jurisdiction
Standards are maintained per the UKRLP (UK Register of Learning Providers) for UK learners and equivalent frameworks for international learners.
Equal Opportunity Charter
Purpose
Reaffirming our commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), aligned with UN SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities).

Jurisdiction
Adhering to the Equality Act, 2010 (UK) and Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (India).
Safeguarding Learners Policy
Purpose
To protect young people and vulnerable learners engaged in Dropledge Academy activities.
Commitments
- Training: Annual safeguarding training for all staff.
- Reporting: Concerns reported to media@dropledge.org are handled confidentially.
- Zero Tolerance: Strict policies against harassment, exploitation, or abuse.

Guided by the Children Act, 1989 (UK), and POCSO Act, 2012 (India).
